Drake to Release Short Film Please Forgive Me in September

The short, slated for a September 30th release, will be directed by frequent Rihanna collaborator Anthony Mandler and will be scored by Noah “40” Shebib and feature music from the now 3X’s platinum certified Views album.

Chance The Rapper on His Love for Chicago

In this short clip from GQ, Chance The Rapper speaks to the historic significance of his hometown of Chicago in the context of the Civil Rights movement, how the city influences artists who live there and how live Rap music has reinvigorated the music scene in the city.

The video is a companion piece to a new article in GQ in which he recounts losing himself in LA and returning to Chicago to regroup, his relationship with President Obama and his ongoing refusal to sign a recording contract:
“Just in terms of, like, those guys being able to say that they got me. That’s what they want to do. It’s like a fucking dick-swinging contest, where they all just brag about who they recently got.
