Freeway gets busy over a production by Amsterdam based producer Big Ape on a new one called “Bombdroppaz”. This is the b-side to the upcoming limited edition Primates 7-inch from the pair and it also features cuts from Create & DJ Devastate.

In this short but informative interview between himself and DJ Whoo Kid, French Montana speaks on a number of topics from Max B to the Budden/Drake beef to Nas carrying around peanut butter sandwhiches. On Max B, French tells Whoo Kid that there are literally hundreds of unreleased Max verses in the vaults and he hinted that Max should have some great news for fans soon. He talks about a new record Fat Joe has that he says will be bigger than “All The Way Up”, putting Nas and Kanye on a track together for the first time and teases that record he has in the stash with Jadakiss, Styles P and Beanie Sigel (see below). He also speaks on the Drake/Budden conflict and shares a conversation he had with Jay Z about how much Jay regrets putting out the infamous “Sunshine”.

Here’s another one from the Banks & Steelz (RZA and Paul Banks') project Anything But Words, droppingt August 26th. The track, “Sword In The Stone”, finds RZA rapping rather aggressively alongside the one and only Kool Keith over a melodic track and hook.

Been waiting for something like this to come to surface. The unlikely trio of Ma$e, the late great Guru and Harlem World’s Blinky Blink share the mic on this rare 1998 freestyle on Tim Westwood’s show. Betha and Blink take up most of the bars but the master of the monotone gets his too over the “Been Around The World” remix instrumental.
One day after the first release of the upcoming motion picture soundtrack, we get Pusha T and Jeremih connecting on the latest cut “Paid” moving up like George Jefferson for the new film The Land.

Last night, Drake and Future’s Summer Sixteen Tour touched down in Chicago and special guest Kanye West made his way onto the stage to perform “Pop Style” with the 6 God. After that first appearance, Ye went into a wild performance of “Famous” and then “Father Stretch My Hands”, but not before dropping a dig at Taylor Swift, telling the crowd “I’m so glad my wife has Snapchat. ‘Cause now ya’ll can know the truth, and can’t nobody talk sh*t about ‘Ye no more!”

Joe Budden this past weekend got into some unwanted company. Some kids who ran up on him at his house yelling about Drake and OVO, taunting him and he ended up catching up with them at a stoplight, rocks in hand, as he warned them—not so kindly—to stay out of his neighborhood. Drake ended up following one of the kids on Instagram, and the whole thing spawned some hilarious memes.
As the election season approaches, The Nightly Show‘s political campaign strategy expert, DJ Khaled gives newly minted Democratic presidential nominee Hillary Clinton some MAJOR KEYS to winning the office of POTUS.
Khaled also sat down for a pretty interesting interview with the Ebro in the Morning team during which he talked about his new album, the single with Nas and his history with Fat Joe and the late greats Big Pun and Guru. Watch below.
Nas will be releasing a new film The Land on July 29th, executively produced by none other then himself and accompanying that with a soundtrack. Today we get to hear film’s musical side with the release of “This Bitter Land” with God’s Son & neo-soul artist, Erykah Badu.

There had been an exchange of words on twitter last week and Factz decided to take it to the booth.

Vic Mensa, Joey Purp and Vic’s fan Mitch kick it over on Sway in the Morning for an interview and freestyle. They spoke on how Mitch reached out to Vic on Twitter and since then they've grown a bond and relationship, their favorite MCs, the story of Save Money and much more. Cam dropped a verse yesterday on Instagram where he references the murder of Big L and the speculation that the profound Harlem wordsmith was shot by Gerard Woodley. He was another well known figure from their neighborhood who was recently murdered himself right around where L met his fate on 139th and Lenox. This just sounds like a shot version to a track that is soon to come out. Hopefully we get that full version soon.

Laced with “14 anthems,” the follow up to I Changed A Lot will feature a star-studded lineup consisting of Jay Z, Future, J Cole, Drake, Lil Wayne, Rick Ross, Meek Mill, Chris Brown, Big Sean, and plenty more. Today he delivers another one..."Holy Key featuring Kendrick, Big Sean & Betty Wright with production by Cool & Dre.
Phonte describes Tigallerro, his new record with Eric Roberson, as “the attitude of hip-hop meets the musicianship of classic R&B” and that amazing first single “It’s So Easy” was a perfect representation of that theme. The new 10-track project is devoid of any guest appearances and was originally supposed to drop last year but was delayed by circumstances beyond the pair’s control. It’s here now though and you can continue below to stream the project in full head over to Apple Music/iTunes.
N.O.R.E is joined by Memphis Bleek and Remy Ma with a new banger called “4 Da Win”, produced by Smoova. N-O also added a liberated stream of “Petty”, an SPK produced leak that was floating around yesterday. I mess with these.

Drake and Future teamed up to start off the Summer Sixteen Tour earlier this week and last night they brought their talents to Dallas, TX. During an interlude, Drake made an offhand comment to the crowd about his man Joe Budden, who has been relentlessly going in on the 6 God over the past few weeks.
Very surprised that i'm hearing there's a new album from Cee-Lo Green. The surface has approached where he has brought out a new track “My Favorite MCs”, which pays tribute to an extensive list of legendary MCs, going all the way back to Melle Mel and LL Cool J right up to Nas, Kendrick Lamar and J.Cole among many others.

Today we have the pleasantly awaited Gucci album Everybody Looking. Recorded over the course of 6 days in his Georgia mansion where he’s doing house arrest and still able to get it done wit no remorse. The LP that marks the new beginning of a brand new, drug free, more professional era of Gucci. On here he's worked with producers and friends Mike WiLL Made-It and Zaytoven and called on Kanye West, Young Thug and Drake for guest appearances.
