TDE Has Plans To Release Six Albums In 2016

Top Dawg Entertainment is a world class label in power today. When artists on the label, from the likes of Kendrick Lamar to SZA to one of their in-house producers makes headlines, most people are willing to see what's going on and pay attention. Monday, the label's leader, Top Dawg, gave an update on their plans for 2016.

To start of the schedule, ScHoolBoy Q, whose album
is apparently just waiting to have its samples cleared, then the update ran down the list of members and their anticipated projects, which are a work in progress. Both SZA and Isaiah Rashad, who recently released "Smile" and "Nelly," seem to be just under Q in terms of advancement of their projects, Ab-Soul's next project is "mixing," and Kendrick and Jay Rock seem to still be in the planning stages. If this is in order of readiness, it seems Top wants the album fully mixed before they move on to the creative and marketing aspects of the album.
