“I heard people saying how gross and offensive the new Miley video was, so I had to check it out,” R.A. explains. “It reminded me of my dirty, crusty, degenerate days, back when I used to make songs about ripping cunts out with spoons. Plus it was the hardest beat. I was like, ‘Yo, I gotta slay this Miley Cyrus track!’ It didn’t even sound right coming out of my mouth, but I had to do it.”Listen below:

Kanye’s recent announcement of a potential 2020 presidential bid prompts an illustrated New Yorker cover. The image, by artist Barry Blitt, is inspired by the famous photo of Harry Truman holding a misprinted newspaper cover that read Dewey Beats Truman, a premature and inaccurate headline printed by the Chicago Daily Tribune in the wake of the 1948 election.
Says Blitt about the concept behind the image:
“And when one considers Mr. West, it doesn’t take a whole lot of imagination to be reminded of another scrappy kid who won the Presidency, back in 1948, against all odds. The press wrote him off, too. That’s right—Harry Truman.”
